On Circular Tape Heidi has shaped a work defined by the dogma of instant creation and recording songs using only a microphone and six effect pedals, building up the music by live sampling voice, beatbox and singing. Nothing was to be rehearsed or arranged ahead of time and with no other aim than to play music and to document what happend. Circular Tape sums up these rare style recordings directly from the veins; shortend sweet to give you only the best and the worst. No computer has contributed with any sounds. The cassette tape media is a natural choise based on the analog sound source and the concept of record & play. If you do not have a tape player I hope you will enjoy the adventure of finding one to play this tape.
